Sorry for not updating lately, I've been having a bit of an art block, and I can't get myself to finish the two last pictures for Zutara Week, which ended ages ago. I'm also sorry to the Batsy and Joker fans who watch me for not posting any new pics of them either, but I'll get round to it, I promise!
I'm really annoyed right now because my nan and grandad have left to go on a weeks holiday, and we have to look after their dog, which can be really annoying when it comes to feeding, because they haven't been bothered to train it properly, and so when it is time for the dog's dinner, it has to make a huge deal out of it. And because my mum won't let me train it out of the habit by starving it for a day (which to me isn't a punishment, but she says that it's not up to us), I have to wait about half an hour before it decideds it wants to eat it's dinner properly! And we've said so many times to my nan (who is the worst with it) to be firmer, but she's all "Aww but it'll starve and I can't be that cruel"
GAH!!!
I swear she used to be ALOT firmer with the rescue dogs she brought in, but just because this new one is tiny and thin, she thinks that it'll die if you are mean to it..
Another thing about the dog, is that my nan and grandad have bought SO MANY SQUEEKY TOYS IT'S UNREAL! The dog DOESN'T NEED THEM!!
I don't blame the dog, because I'm sure that it's really smart, and can break out of a bad habit, but my grandparents and mum won't let me be strict to it. >(
ANYWAY.
I'm looking forward to going back to college and seeing my friends again. Plus I need to get rid of some stuff that I kept for next year to use, and that needs to be taken back into college, so as to give me some room to move in my tiny cramped room.
I'm also trying to raise money for a new car which I've already ordered to go back to college in, and I'm hoping to get a job with my mum's friend at Marks and Spencers, if not, my mum can get me a job in Morrisons (so she says). I'm going to be selling a drumkit and a keyboard/electric piano. I've recently been doing commisions for a guy round the corner to me who gets me to paint signs and print flyers and stuff, which is pretty easy because he's half blind anyway so I get away with mistakes
